Wow. Sobering to hear something that insightful but haunting from a 7 year old. I'm reading Number the Stars right now...

ReplyDeleteLuke has already seen a lot in his few young years, and like his mom and dad, he is a pretty smart little cookie. It's sad he has already had to make that analysis, but hopefully he can also find the goodness of most people.

ReplyDeleteA profound statement coming from one so young. Oh, that we had more of these special youth to help guide our future. Today AZ lost a young soldier who was on his third tour of duty in the Middle East.
